Hanoi - Ha Long - Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta

Day 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI
Arrive in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel. Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some of Asia's most striking colonial architecture, many peaceful lakes, parks and oriental temples making for a relaxing atmosphere. Take a short sightseeing tour by cyclo through the bustling old quarter streets.

Day 2: HANOI (B)
Today we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and the impressive Ethnologic Museum. In the evening, we enjoy a fantastic traditional water puppet show.

Day 3: HANOI - HA LONG (B, L, D)
Overland to Ha Long Bay (165 km), the most wonderful scenic sight of Vietnam, the World Natural Heritage Site with over 3000 limestone islands and islets rising fantastically from the clear and emerald water. On arrival to Halong, we board a traditional-style wooden junk and start to an interesting cruise on the sea.
12.00: enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.
After a Vietnamese and International Lunch, we start our visit the wonderful Halong bay.
(Massage service is available beginning after lunch and throughout the cruise)
Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Water and towels supplied. We will spend about 45 minutes on the island.
19:00  Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese & Western Buffet or Set Menu Dinner.
20:30  Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room, board games and playing cards are available, join squid fishing from the boat with our crew, massage services are available. Also at this time we offer, when possible - depending on weather conditions, an excursion to a nearby squid fishing boat. We travel by tender and you will be able to board the squid boat and see how the local fishermen catch squid and other fish, the excursion lasts about 45 minutes.

Day 4: HA LONG - HUE (Brunch)
After having hot tea or coffee, you can enjoy Taichi class on the sundeck. Then continue a leisure boat trip through the bay to explore some of the many islands, caves and grottoes. On the way, anchor for a relaxing swim in a secluded cove.
10:00: Brunch buffet served on board. Then we disembark and return to Hanoi airport for a short flight to Hue, Vietnam's last feudal capital where Nguyen Dynasty once ruled Vietnam during period 1802 - 1945. Arrive in Hue, pick up and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: HUE (B)
Morning boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting Hue’s oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes.
In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and the bustling Dong Ba market.
Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: HUE - DA NANG - HOI AN (B)
Drive south to Hoi An town, a recognised World Heritage Site, which famous by its ancient architecture of mixed Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese style from the 16th century, with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets. Stop-over at Da Nang’s Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world.
Upon arrival, we walk around this ancient town of 600-year old visiting the 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful riverside market.

Day 7: HOI AN - HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Morning fly to Ho Chi Minh city, the biggest industrial and commercial city of Vietnam. Visit the Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Saigon’s China Town, Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay wholesale market.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 8: HO CHI MINH - MY THO - CAN THO (B)
Drive to My tho. On arrival take a boat trip on Mekong river, a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands. Reach the Unicorn island, stroll around an orchard, enjoy a wonderful show of Mekong Delta’s traditional music and songs, taste many seasonal fruits, tea mixed with bee’s honey.
Continue to Can Tho, the heart of Mekong Delta.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 9: CAN THO - HO CHI MINH CITY  (B)
Take a boat trip for an exciting excursion around the tributaries of the mighty Mekong River to visit the famous Cai Rang vibrant floating market whose trading way is unique; each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples or sugar canes… Walk around to visit a vermicelli making shop, a rice husking mill and fruit gardens. Then drive back to Ho Chi Minh city.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 10: DEPART HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure flight.
