Hanoi - Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Pac Bo - Lang Son - Ha Long - Bac Ninh - Hanoi
Day 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI
Arrive at Noi Bai airport, transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a short pedicab through this stylish and gracious capital city that retains an unique old world charm of South East Asia. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: HANOI (B)
Full day city tour including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum (close on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the History Museum, the Museum of Ethnology, the lake of Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple. Evening enjoy Hanoi's famous water puppet show (unique to Vietnam). Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: HANOI - BA BE LAKE (B)
Depart to Ba Be lake through the undulating terrain of tea plantation and the many timeless villages. Upon arrival we visit a original hill tribe village of Tay ethnic groups. Overnight in Ba Be.
Day 4: BA BE LAKE - CAO BANG (B)
Morning cruise on the lake for an enjoyable visit to the Ba Be National Park, Dau Dang Waterfalls, Puong submarine cave. Enioy the peace and tranquility of the unspoiled tropical jungle, emerald waters, limestone mountains and the tribal lifestyle. Afternoon drive toward Cao Bang. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 5: CAO BANG - BAN GIOC WATERFALL - CAO BANG (B)
Visit Ban Gioc waterfalls - the largest waterfall in Vietnam, Nguom Ngao cave, the hill tribe villages. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 6: CAO BANG - PAC BO CAVE - LANG SON (B)
Early morning visit the historical cave Pac Po where Ho Chi Minh set up the headquarter for Vietnamese August 1945 Revolution, then drive to Lang Son. Visit to different tribes villages en route with splendid mountainous landscapes. You will join the pilgrim sites of Dong Khe and That Khe with some vestiges of the French colonialist war in the RC4 (colonial road No 4) named “The Bloody Road”. On arrival visit to the Friendship Border Gate and the frontier market. Overnight in Lang Son.
Day 7: LANG SON - HA LONG (B)
Visit the central market of Lang Son, Tam Thanh Cave and Nhi Thanh Cave. Travel to Halong Bay, Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Spend the remainder of the day for relaxing on the beach of Ha Long bay. Overnight in Ha Long.
Day 8: HA LONG - BAC NINH - HANOI (B, L)
Embark on a 4-hour boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery. Anchor along the way for a leisure swim in a secluded cove and visit one of the many hidden grottoes beneath the towering cliffs. Afternoon we take the route to Hanoi, stop en route at Bac Ninh Province to have more knowledge of Vietnamese’s history and culture. You are welcome at Dinh Bang Village; take some minutes transfer by horse drawn carriage or ox cart to Do temple for visiting. This temple was building during the Le Dynasty and has been altered several times since. The major reconstruction took place under the reign of Le Trung Hung in the 17th century. And then we enjoy traditional music show “Quan Ho” or called Quan Ho Folk song. Continue our drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: DEPART HANOI (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure flight. End of services.
