Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. You are free to stroll around the city and catch a first glimpse of this peaceful city.
In the evening, a Welcome dinner out at a stylistic restaurant, which impresses you by unique decoration leading to the nature
Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B/L)
At 8am, the guide of Luxury Tours Viet will meet you at your hotel and start the day with the visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and “House on stilt” at the same area with the Presidential Palace and the famous One Pillar Pagoda. We also make a visit to the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, which is now dedicated to Confucian worship and “Hanoi Hilton” –a nick name given by US pilots during the war. There is time to visit Hanoi Old Quarter on the rickshaw for 1 hour and Hoan Kiem Lake with a stop over at Ngoc Son Temple.
In the evening, we will enjoy the famous famous water puppet show
Day 3: Perfume Pagoda and overnight train to Lao Cai (B, L)
Departing from your hotel at 8am, we will take a 2.5 hour road trip to the countryside out of Hanoi, Reaching Yen dock, then we will enjoy one hour on a small sampan in Yen River surrounded by the spectacular scenery of mountains, rivers and rice paddies. We will pass by Trinh Pagoda and continue to Thien Tru Habour where we will start trekking to main cave pagoda uphill- Perfume pagoda. The visit to this pagoda will give us more understanding of the Buddhism in Vietnam.Today we will have late and simple lunch near Thien Tru Habour before a visit to the most beautiful Thien Tru Pagoda. Enjoy one hour sampan back to meet our waiting vehicle. We get on car and arrive in Hanoi around 6 pm. Few hours free to enjoy dinner and take some refreshment. At 8.30pm, we will take an overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 4: Sapa –Cat Cat Villages (B/L)
Arrive in the early morning (around 6am), you will take roughly one hours drive to Sapa. Breakfast at the hotel then walk down to the H’mong village of Cat Cat. In Cat cat, you can see the waterfall, the old French hydro power station and have a chance to communicate with local minority people. Back to sapa, Have luch at the local restaurant. Free to visit Sapa town and Sapa market. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight in Sapa
Day 5: Lao Chai & Tavan - Thanh Kim (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will start the trekking day (8km) on the hillside trails up and down to Lao Chai, home of the Black H’mong and Ta Van area, inhabited by the Zay minority. Then jeep is riding down to the remote village of Thanh Kim. Check in the Eco - logde, relax and enjoy dinner. Today you will stay overnight in the most peaceful valley.
Day 6: Colorful Minority market (B, L)
Today we will take on excursion to a local minority market. Depending on the day of the week, we can visit Bac Ha market (only held on Sunday), Can Cau market (only held on Saturday) or Coc Ly market(only held on Tuesday). It is a precious opportunity for you to have nice photos of colorful market. On the way to Lao Cai railways station, we will pay a visit at villages of Flower H’mong people. Overnight on train
Day 7: Hanoi –Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning, our guide will transfer you back to your hotel for relaxation before getting on car for Halong Bay journey at 8am. It takes you about 3 hours to reach there. Then you will have a cruise on a traditional Vietnamese wooden Junk on Halong bay to most caves, have seafood on board for lunch and have pleasure time for swimming and sunbathing. You will have dinner on board as enjoying the sunset; then stay on board for overnight
Day 8: Halong Bay –Hanoi (B, L)
This day you will have further cruise on the bay, visit rock piles and sun bathing before getting back to the wharf in the early afternoon. Our waiting vehicle will transfer you back to Hanoi
Day 9: Hanoi departure (B)
Some free time for shopping or strolling around the city until transfer time to the airport for your flight to the next destination. End of services by Luxury Tours Viet
