The Mountain View Hotel is located in the centre of the Sapa, at the corner of Sapa market & Cau May street, about 25 minutes walking to Cat Cat village & 10 minutes to Ham Rong Mountain. It takes 20 minute drive to Silver waterfall.
The Mountain View Hotel and Restaurant recently replaced an older hotel establishment that Mrs. Ninh Hong started in 1996 near the Sapa Market. Before going into the hotel business, Mrs. Hong studied veterinary science at University near Hanoi. Missing Sapa, she returned and became its first female trekking guide.

- The hotel has a total of 23 rooms:

• 17 Rooms with 2 Beds (1 Double bed & one Single Bed)
• 3 Rooms with 3 Single Beds
All rooms have TV, internal telephone, private bathrooms and hot water (6 rooms with Bathtub) As the name of the hotel indicates, most rooms have a mountain view and also balconies. For those who would like a cozy atmosphere, some special rooms have working fireplaces. Breakfast is not included. Heaters are available for rent on request
- Open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
The 50 seat indoor restaurant has a wood fired heater to keep away the chill on cold days, while the 30 seat outdoor balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the Sapa sunshine and the spectacular view down the valley. Choose from a large selection of both Vietnamese and Western dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
