-Children policy: accommodation
No additional charge (room only) for children up to 12 years of age sharing room with parents without extra bed. Extra bed is chargeable at above indicated rate.
-Children policy: meals
50% discount on buffet meals only for children below 12 years of age.
-Check-in time is 13.00 hours and check-out time is 12 noon.
-Reservations will be held till 18.00 hours only, unless guaranteed by Credit Card or advanced deposit.
GROUP CONCESSION POLICY
For every 10 paying rooms, one complimentary room, up to a maximum of two complimentary rooms to be accorded for the use of the tour leader.
DEPOSIT - BILLING PROCEDURES
For all groups, prepayment is required as per the following schedule:
* 25% deposit on the total accommodation charges at least 30 days prior to the group's scheduled arrival,
** 50% deposit on the total accommodation charges at least 14 days prior to the group's scheduled arrival together with the preliminary rooming list,
*** The balance of charges should be settled before the group's departure.
The Hotel reserves the right to release all rooms not guaranteed by the deposits on above-mentioned dates, unless separate written agreements have been made.
GROUP ROOMING LIST / RELEASE PERIOD
For all groups, a complete Rooming List must be received by the Hotel at least 7 days prior to the group's scheduled arrival and must include flight information and meal requirements. The Hotel reserves the right to release all rooms, if this requirement is not met.
CANCELLATION / NO-SHOW CHARGES
For guaranteed FIT reservations, there will be no cancellation charges, if a written notice is provided at least 72 hours prior to arrival date. Any FIT reservations cancellations within 72 hours to arrival date (with or without written notice) or in the event of a no-show, one night's contract rate will be charged. For all groups, a written notice must be received by the Hotel at least 14 days prior to the group's scheduled arrival. If this written notice is not received within the time limit stated or in the event that there is no-show from the group, the deposit will be forfeited automatically.
CREDIT FACILITIES
In the event you may choose to establish credit facilities with Meliã Hanoi, an application form for credit facility for approval is available upon request.
PAYMENT
In case you do not have existing credit facilities with Meliã Hanoi, payment in full for all charges in cash, by credit card (Meliã Hanoi accepts American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and JCB Card), bank draft certified by the bank or by money transfer in US Dollars must be settled before check-in, unless separate credit agreement has been made between both contracting parties. Please take note that if you have credit facilities with the Hotel, payment in full has to be settled within 60 days after check-out. Meliã Hanoi is entitled to charge you a 2% (two percent) late payment fee on due amounts in US Dollars, in case the payment due to the Hotel is late (outstanding not settled within 60 days agreed by both contracting parties). TAXES / SERVICE CHARGE
Meliã Hanoi reserves the right to adjust rates agreed within the contract period in the event of tax alterations by the Government and service charge amendment
Lobby Lounge:
Spacious but cozy, the Lobby Lounge is located on the ground floor, and serves snacks and drinks with live music in the evening. Relax after a busy day with live entertainment nightly by Meliá Sunshine Quintet band.
El-Oriental Restaurant:
An Elegant Vietnamese Restaurant with an emphasis on seafood. You can hand pick an impressive array of food from any of the restaurant's six aquariums to be prepared by the talented chef. There is live traditional Vietnamese performance as entertainment on a regular basis.
Latino Bar:
As the city’s first authentic tapas bar, Latino, officially opened late 2006, offers around 30 types of tapas with two distinctive sections of Spanish classics and fusion creations. To accompany the tapas, the bar features over 70 exotic cocktails, as well as a wide selection of wines from Spain, Chile and Argentina. There is live Latin music nightly, with salsa and South American rhythms floating from the speakers
Executive Lounge:
The Executive Lounge, located on the 20th floor, serves breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails for the Royal Service floors.
For a selection of food and beverages, the hotel's El Patio and Lotus Restaurants serve international cuisine, including Thai and Chinese dishes. The Pool Bar offers refreshing beverages and light snacks. Nothing goes better with a relaxing drink than the good music at the hotel's Lobby Bar.
El Patio Restaurant:
The El Patio Restaurant is a spacious modern restaurant with a distinct Mediterranean feel, located on the ground floor. Enjoy the scents of Vietnamese spices, the heat of Thai chili, aroma of freshly baked breads or a smooth ice cream at the vast international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A la carte also available.
